Our attention was drawn at the social meeting on Wednesday 16th November to the fact that that all organizations keeping data on their members need to be aware of the relevant Data Protection Act of 2018. I have therefore added to the website a ‘data protection’ page which can be voted on at the next general meeting 18th January 2023. Since we all trust each other and are part of a closer knit community I don’s know how much difference it will make but if we have to take notice of Acts then so be it. Anyway we would all have to agree this.
