Drama – Saturday 17th in the afternoon at 3.43 pm one of our number (see Facebook) reported a flood at the top of the allotment involving a burst pipe. I phoned up Steve Plumley one of the council members. On his advice I phoned David Paisey who lives nearby and he turned off the stop cock. Evidently the meter was ‘spinning around’ so we saved quite a few gallons of water. The whole thing took an hour to solve. Thanks to all who cooperated
